I have worked on this poem. It is a discussion about health and wellness. Cool enough topic?

The flow may seem unusual, just because this type of writing and my stuff in general, won’t appeal to everyone. Oh well. Another day, another poem….

This one will seem best from certain angles. Readers can be aware of context or lack of, and even look deeper into it. I recommend taking all of this with a grain of salt.

In order to appreciate this in the first place, there must be a connection in reading to acquire the suggested angles.

Here is a recent picture. There were more sunflowers, but they fell over. Claw marks would indicate that the bears played a role…. They did get most of the corn…

Sometimes I can get so sick and tired
of needless attacks on my peace
but I know that it is the feeling itself
that could be helpful
to just release

If I can endure
tough times will be cured
accepting the challenges
and unpleasant feelings
until we get
over them, past them
and through with them
then we can find healing
Our days become more appealing
Sometimes I can’t believe this is real but
I do realize that we are naturally wired
to handle our world

When I am inspired
I am sometimes just wishing
that more people would listen

We are never done
We are on the run
making choices with voices
that we wish had always existed
We work to be understood

like each wealthy college

Now located on a street far away
driving to get everywhere

From the driver’s seat
We can see the future

The past is in the rear view mirror

We see many different scenes
from the passenger window

There is an entire world
in each second
and every minute

In each pocket of time
we can find a totally new view
Such vast meaning can be found
in these small segments of life

One day
splash through puddles on the road
The very next
the sun creates
a wavy mirage
above the pavement on the hill

Warmth is expressed in colours
At night we have street lights
Around the clock we flourish
We love to travel
Love to chill
It is normal to progress through colours in our vision
Through yards and trees
we see the green
From green to yellow
Caution is free
Orange and red
Stops us ahead
past the day the sun shies away
Blue turns to
Purple and then to black
The moon and the stars
will guide us back
where each day
takes us far
The lights on the road
above and of cars

Destinations like tomorrow
and within the next hours
Traffic flows with a purpose
Each vehicle has their own cause
Together alive
Our breath shows up as steam on the glass that we are looking through

Our world is now

Out world is sometimes
situated in a dangerous place

We are obligated to engage in this space

concentrate on keeping up with the pace
We try to
articulate feelings in a very clear way
Do all that we can do
to create a better day

Rocks on the road
launch at the windshield
right in front of our face
From the tires
of the truck that is directly ahead

the road has a taste

We will never eat it
but we have to free it
And search the glass
for a chip or a crack

Surely we know
each driver’s case
When they need never look back
They may not know their effect
It is not their fault
That’s a fact
It’s the conditions
the environment
Now we look through
and hope for no more attacks
There is no damage to view

Safe and sound
coming around
if we are lucky
and cruise through fine
Stand up for what we believe
Use our brains
and have a spine

I am so easy-going
Unless emotions are
overflowing

The designs of this
are as fine as this
I will try for this
So divine it is

We have one life
One Earth
One universe
We have to fight
for our rights
and then fight to be cured
of the condition
of limited resources
and consider our own worth
When we perceive that we are together
It puts each one of us first

One world
One dream dispersed
We have to find
the new light
and then find causes pure
with our persistence
with efforts of our forces
to realize war is worse
Understanding that being together
should surely not be a curse

We can figure out ways to work things out
Make plans to share life better
When we take responsibility
for our connection

There is still trouble
We can escape it
Or overcome it
It rolls in like stormy weather
We stay aware of it
and prepare for it
It all happens now or never

I will think only good thoughts

Lots going on as usual. Amazing really.

Poem here about how a tough challenge can jump into our plans, such as something rough from the media, or something irritating in our day to day that we have to either deal with or look past, but that we may dwell on for a time. Still, with courage, patience and decisiveness we can get back to achieving, perceiving and feeling peace in our day.

Intrusion of an entity
into my vital hours
Just a thought has such a weight and
driving, wrecking-ball powers
Sometimes I can choose not to think about it
Sometimes I can’t get it off my mind
Sometimes it invades most of my days
it simply does not care about time

Our views are always meant to be
aiming up high for now here
Any shot from situations
can echo very loud here
Sometimes I can choose not to listen to it

It does’t pay to be too fearing

Is something bothering you?

It’s nothing new
Just a chunk of time that I feel blue

Anxious thoughts can be forgot

Think about when time goes well

Illusions fade fast when I see
past mountains and high towers
Truth is taught to beat back flames like intense and pure rain showers

I hope that you are having a good day. This poem is partly about being misunderstood. For example: Not having your story told can lead to everyday stigma because people sometimes make inaccurate judgments about behaviour and reasons for behaviour when background and context are not known. This can have an impact because misunderstandings lead to chain reactions such as reactive behaviours. This can happen to just about anyone (but some more than others).

I completed this poem this morning . It is also about finding the most powerful truth. It is partly how we frame it. If we handle things well we may find better ways to cope, heal and expand joy.

Thoughts

Just can’t escape
I can’t explain how it looks
because I can’t speak up
and I can’t change that
It has to change on it’s own

Yet if I take on this tone
then we can make a break
when we get on the same page

Sometimes the truth is not known
because the belief was mistaken
as we are reading or acting
we are often impacting
*
People follow this chain reaction
and make more mistakes
based on assumptions
and the perception of
perhaps an initial illusion
Words or images obscuring
subject matter that manifests a more relevant and developed meaning
beyond the superficial impression that we may be witnessing when stigma corrupts

Either side of this perspective
can lead the observer
a person
to have rage or disgust or sorrow
based on something that was never known
because we can’t know something
that is not a fact
We can believe it
but that could be off track
We should take a step back

Negative aspects of this life can fade
or never have existed anyway
A better reality may now become tangible
While even an illusion has weight
distorted or bent
when we know what was meant
and the actual intent
we can find a much better way
to both work and play
Comprehension stays
becoming
absolutely as clear as day

The vision through the glass
is all that we ever see
We can believe that we are free
and then when we breathe
the steam makes it seem
like we are in a dream

As we peer through the window
the fog starts to rise
so now when we look
we can see life clearly
because we are confident
that’s how it is appearing

We have a solid plan
or at least quite nearly
as it comes together
we are comfortable in the moment

In the world our mind spans

with the sky, sea and land
machines that move
