The influence we have

is precise or crude

It depends on the angle

And how it’s construed

The lows of consciousness

May never improve

So how do we influence

our balance

when the world

weighs down on us?

We must find ways thruough

All the challenges

When the world

goes to town on us

Look past

Endure

Keep waiting for the cure

We can always be sure

A better end

for our world

Will be found for us

It’s a matter of time

Adapt and climb

Protect and prime

The moments we find

For feeling better

When our plans align

Improved design

Justice not crime

Arrives when we balance

The things that they are doing

are not okay

Maybe they’re not horrendous 

But why wait until they get worse

It is amazing what they miss

Complacency is a curse

they can’t be careful

the people that have it

But always to the people that it hurts

The fixture is bright
the blinds are half-closed
We dim it down soon
Until only our eyes glow

At the edge of the windows
