Busy busy…. Demolished a structure, staining the deck, new garden construction after previous wood beds/retaining wall removed and hill excavated into new shape. Full time in 40 hour job. Research, other hours…. Etcetera.
Meanwhile, we just had company for almost 3 weeks. The first visit was a while ago.
The second set of visitors was my two sons. Great visit. Some golf… Saw the new Spider-Man 👍🏻👍🏻
Dinners, barbecue…. A few bear sitings…
The other day I opened the door to go to work and one of our many local black bears was looking at me. This is a really bad picture, but you can see the black shadow heading back into the trees. The bear ate at least four of our corn cobs. We thought that it had been deer, but I caught him or her pretty much red – handed/ pawed…

Bright Light Glowing
When I am certain
I am not hurting
I can feel comfortable in my own skin

This is my version
I am alerting
I feel sure that everyone is fine knowing
*
If it gets worse than
time past and current
I make sure that new solutions are flowing
*
Words that we heard once
we are averting
We feel much better
with a new light showing

The morning sun
or the light from the moon and stars
The sunshine when beams
burst through the afternoon clouds
from so far
Way high up in the sky
or low on the horizon
Up on the room’s ceiling
or from phones and screens
that we have our eyes on
Light shines to us
and gives us new angles
of all of these views
that we untangle
so many have to be true
That is what we have to manage
Some perspectives are acute
We have it all handled

I am immersed in
each new excursion
I feel excited that my life is growing

For what it’s worth here
Each thought disperses
but to only one cause
and with no pause
We are truly
without question devoted
In pure religious awe
yet with scientific laws
From our highest branches
Deep roots must go down

The center of our world is
where we break the curses
We feel fresh with each new start
going slow now
