We are down to earth

With a thousand words

That won’t be heard

Unless they listen first

I know that you have

Or we wouldn’t be going down this avenue together

Through any kind of weather

If there’s sunshine we’re glad

When we enjoy time, it’s better

So unrefined

Expressing our mind

Caring about time

Consider the big picture first

In our lives we’re immersed

We know what it’s worth

We need to be heard

Saying only fair words

Its not absurd

Fair words in context

Should not be obscured

By a little blue bird

We must have some say

We will make our way

Don’t think worse

Break the curse

I’ll push the verse

Wish I could just

Be less pressured

And the world was cured

So that each one of us could

Please rest assured…
