Find Heaven Past All Hell

I cannot forget today
Yesterday: Maybe
But the future ahead
Is carried by the river
*
All things past
Even those left for dead
Can still strike a note
Make me shake and shiver
Excitement
Good or bad
But now I summon the energy
To bring tomorrow’s joy
For all of us waiting here
We hope life will deliver
*
The strangest thing I said
Went right to your head
And I’ll never get to explain how
The river bed rolls
And now the ground starts to move
The skies are shifting for the world we choose
I want to say
One time for sure
I am reaching out to you
I want you to be well
Find Heaven past all Hell
*
We can’t forget today
Yesterday is fading
And the future ahead
Is carried by the river
*
All things last
Once they get in our head
And can still strike a note
Time, gold or an old wood sliver
Fragments, Good or bad
Cleanse or craft connections
Now I summon the energy
To find tomorrow’s peace
With faith waiting here
We know life will deliver
*
The strangest thing I said
Seemed to go over your head
And I’ll never get to explain how
The river rocks roll
And now the ground starts to move
Vast skies are shifting for the world we choose
I want to say
One time for sure
I am reaching out to you
I want you to be well
Find Heaven past all Hell
*
Heaven beyond Hell
I thought it would never drop
Future stories to tell
Today must stay on top
I can’t get down
Without the sound
Beauty and movement
The river never stops
I want you to be forever well
The river starts to swell
Taking us straight through
Heaven past all hell
Find Heaven past all hell
*
I can’t forget today
All these current changes
And the future ahead
Is carried by the river

*
We will never know
How the river rocks roll
Until the river comes flowing through
And now the ground starts to move
Life’s skies are shifting for the world we choose
I want to say
One time for sure
I’m reaching out to you
I want you to be well
Find Heaven past all Hell
