I have a voracious appetite
for another day
right after night
In fact I always do
It is true
How about you?
**
I have an insatiable hunger
for the night
and day
above and under
and from every view
old and new
and for all of you
**
No creepy crawly spider
hanging from a web
dropping onto your shoulder
It is my head instead
*
with contents getting bolder
There are things I should have told you
like my intent
for the time we spend
to feel much better
maybe feel perfect
*
Not get too hot or cold here
Only pure goods bought and sold here
I have a thought to hold here
**
I want no starvation on our Earth
just good days
and nights
for all of our work
Everything that we do
should be viewed
by me and you
if it is true
**
On the wall there’s a fly there
watching the whole web
Everything to behold here
The room is read for bread
*
It’s intent seems on hold here
while the thing takes in the whole view
like the content
that we find hidden
that could be better
maybe seem perfect
*
Wipe away spots of mold here
But aged with grace
Each day a new face
So we can savour this place
Just not get rotten-old here
Sharing fresh goods not for gold here
I have a thought to hold here
