I also like to say that for me, optimism and patience to find inner peace, can make rough times more tolerable and good times better.

Also, some folks have it way tougher. My heart and ideas aim to reach out for anyone that will appreciate it.

Such a great idea
To pay much closer attention
Clearly the situation
could use some serious help

Now leave it alone
Time to pay much less attention
It seems that the situation
Is working out by itself

We should not despair
That life isn’t fair
Just stay aware
That it requires our good energy

Sometimes we give
everything that we have
But it is just not enough
Somehow we must still achieve

Even just in our head
And in things that are said
We can feel good to ourselves
and get through
Every achievement we make
will have something to take
It all depends on what we think and do

Sometimes I have no filter
But what the hell?
I work and I care, I try to be fair
Most of the time we have to pick and choose

We have to live our lives in our own way
and in the end
there is no way to lose

We can’t let go of this truth that keeps us together
When we stay strong in our minds
and our hearts feel better
We find success in the moment
And in more endeavors
We get through each day
