Reality

The big dream

As it starts to take shape

There are uncertainties

The more the outline manifests

the more tangible perceptions

form into definite scenarios

and functional truths

And eventually the visual

and even audible dream

becomes reality

Because that is what we believe

Soon tactile encounters

bring the experience

to be set in stone

Soon we can smell dust

as rain trickles down

to cover the stairs before us

mixing with loose dirt

and we can taste

salty sweat on our lips

And climb higher

leaving the swirling pool of potential

and ascending to our home of possibilities

We influence all outcomes

Yet our control

depends most of all on our mind set

Determining how we are equipped to

adapt, overcome 

 and succeed

We face a vast array of obstacles

Some abrasive

Standing like walls

until we find the door

or a window

We have a choice of peering through

to observe the future

And a chance to open up and enter

We must take some risks

Are we welcome?

Does a storm await?

Some obstacles shine like stars

and draw us in 

Perhaps becoming the ultimate vision

No longer an obstacle

but a fond destination

Elsewhere, a black hole

can trick us

Draining us of our logic and will

When we pay attention

to our ability to change focus

We give ourselves opportunities 

For a better journey

Our thoughts influence

everything in our world

Whether we have control or not

We are the designer and consumer

It is important to evaluate our progress

Whether we chase the stars

Or they chase us

If we can maintain goals for comfort

pleasure or well-being

as we learn from our world and endure

we can find a sense of determination

Thinking that enables faith

to help us consistently stay convinced

of our path to achieve our dreams

whether we change from certain paths

or not

One underlying intention

flows through all of our journeys

and we can develop and maintain that

through our conscious goals

To connect to better outcomes 

Like grains of sand extend

into a radiant beach with a perfect sea

Glowing sun or

Stars and moon

With glorious trees protecting us

And life all around us

We develop our beliefs

Into castles of

confidence and consideration
