Falling away from the future

That they had planned for me

Once beaten by words

not deserved

I made my plans long ago

I’m wondering 

but I’m not sure

How they still

Can not see

I made it clear with no fear

Still they think that they ought to know

Or throw a curve

Those plans hard as stone

Never wandering

I am so sure
