Hardwired (Kind Mission)

You think I don’t do much

And that I’m so far out of touch

I’ll tell you right now

I’m hardwired to the system

*

It’s not my kindness that’s a crutch

And my honesty is clutch

I think that somehow

We should find new ways

to connect for a better system

*

Always speak our mind

Whatever comes to us

Always care enough

and always and forever

share and listen

*

You think I’m a pushover

And I’ll fall hard for a joker

I’ll tell you now

I’m hardwired to the system

*

It’s not my way to be a floater

I’m strapped in this roller coaster

I think somehow

We must find sure ways

To promote a better system

*

Always speak our mind

Discuss what affects us

Find ways to prepare enough

And always and forever

Share a kinder mission

*

Say what you want to say

Just find ways to care enough

About the future and the past

And the present day, calm or rough

*

Say what you want to say

Just make sure to care enough

For the people and the life on Earth

And all the righteous stuff

*

Say it loud

Say it proud

Say anything to promote

A kinder mission

Always share and look and listen

To connect for a better system

*

Inside we each

Think that we are right

And push

For our own causes

We all want more

Victories

But still

We all

Have losses

Weigh our defeats

And balance our wins

Compare the battle of everyone here

Suffering to begin with

Should be eliminated

Share peace to be absolutely clear

In sharing kindness

We should never have to fear

*

You think I’m all for show

Or that my softness has to go

I’ll tell you right now

I’m hardwired to the system

*

If it’s not kindness that you know

I may just go with the flow

I think somehow

We should find

Better ways of connecting

To the system

*

Always speak our mind

Nothing to come between us

Always fair enough

And always and forever

Share and lsten
