Pouring down

I am inside and dry

Sitting in my car

Feeling like I have every reason why

To enjoy the day, feel good about life

Looking up at the

Wet grey sky

Percussion on the roof

Millions of drops with wind flying high

Streams flowing down the windshield

Shapes and patterns impress my eye

Circles and spheres splash

roll and tumble

My parking spot is fine

Waiting for loved ones

Now I walk to meet them

With plenty of time
