For just acting appealing

And seeming so cool

Like being tough and menacing

And thinking it is humorous

May do nothing more

Than looking good

To keep the conversation going

While in the background

Not doing much of anything

Except being pure narcissists

Some people give

Such great support

To their community

Working with such pure feeling

Just being so cool

Like acting kind and balancing

Everything so it is fabulous

These same people

Seem to do nothing more

Than trying hard

To keep the conversation going

While in the background

They work more for everything

And so seem like social misfits

Some people

are on top of the world

Some people

Are far more unsure

Either way

they make it through because

they are living, working people

And they have enough strength

to fight for the cure

Good feelings

In any moment

Are remedies pure

Some people find

Such great support

In their community

By learning ways for dealing

Meeting friends so cool

Then being smart and addressing

The world like it is tremendous

These same people

May do nothing more

Than being nice

To keep the conversation going

While in the background

Not showing much of anything

Except being purely gracious

Some people

are on top of the world

Some people

We make it through because 

We are living, working people

And we have enough strength

I do not like the pressure

that the social world

can put on us

Like when it dictates the feelings

in the lives of those among us

With double standards

We can’t handle

They think it’s fine to con us

Destroying lives

With their logic

If we find true wisdom

Life becomes less toxic

To be more kind and honest

I cannot stand the tension

That the economy throws at us

Like when we can’t agree

That all of our conflicting views matter

from far away

How can you be that way?

How can hate be real?

But how are we supposed to feel?

Denial sometimes:

A healthy shield?

But then hate grows real

That is a very big deal

When packages our culture steals

With grime and lies media has sealed

that media’s all wrong

It can depend on the individual

It’s how we interpret it

There are lies out there

We have to be aware

And propaganda to benefit

One side or another

Health and comfort are key

For everybody

It’s about how we should be

And taking

The most sure path to get there

Realise:

To make us better

I will cheer for  hours

But some messages ARE subliminal

Which can make it hard

to begin at all

Do they really think that I’m not that smart?

may have kindness they flaunt

Look into their faces

More people should be feeling well

Just to get what we need

Some of these same people

Choose to do dirty deeds

While the super rich lying-type

With bad examples lead

There is so much waste

People passed by in haste

As others choose who is freed

To me we should be

The best that we can be

For the health of all

Helped to be

Whoever we want to be

Whoever we need to be

With perfect equity

Some adjustability

And pure accountability

At all levels

So that we can work to achieve

Justice to a greater degree

Just as all folks with empathy

would vote to be

Don’t take down the world

Because of greed

Give all we can give

As much as we can

Not so much possessions

Maybe money to stand

Just help out with the plan

Help more feel well

Have a story to tell

Help more understand

So we can still feel free

Because we work on our side of Hell
