in a preconceived box
The world that we know

Stars to the Core

It is the world going on
Sometimes I have to ignore
If I pay too much attention
It can start to eat at my core

Carrying on with our daily business
Sometimes the world is too much to witness
*
Is the whole world going wrong?
Losing the entire war?
Within us there is too much tension
For some much less
For some much more
*
Then when we find content
In a moment
Beyond the trouble at the time
*
Is the world coming around
and opening up the door?
Is it within comprehension
that peace is something to explore?
*
I think it is worth mention
That we can even up the score
Then work to get ahead again
Get up off the floor
To get so much more
The world to the stars
