It is not always so much about being heard but it is also about shaping ideas so they become more useful to me too.
I do also definitely hope to share thoughts that could be useful for others, that have been useful for me…
This piece is about those moments when I do think too much, or worry and unintentionally engage in mild to medium rumination, which can sometimes lead to fixation and anxiety… with all that is going on in the world.
It is often best to be most objective, even distance ourselves from situations for a better perspective, and we should avoid wasting our thoughts on stressful situations that we can’t impact.
Still, it can help for us to consider situations to develop better ways to think about them for the future.
I feel that it is important to work through our thoughts, but be mindful of our own and others’ wellness in processing, and of the potential to make a difference.

I care so much about situations and details * If I take a step back I might say that I should care less Or just acknowledge that I care and then carry on becoming less aware * Life is life There is nothing that I can do about certain situations So then Don’t waste time on them * But sometimes when I am caring I am making progress And working through problems * So really I might as well care as much as I do Spend time thinking about details and situations And think of ways to work out problems Except if it becomes pointless anxiety Wasting time and peace And not getting anywhere any way

Start the day We are calmly waking up Shaking off a dream or watching it drift away Concrete plans that our brain is making up Paving paths through venting steam And walking in bright sun rays * Live the day We will not get shaken up Ways don’t get extreme We watch that it is okay Vital goals That our soul has taken up Blazing paths and gentle streams Walking through this time and place * End the day We have not forsaken love Praise we are a team And watch how well that we play Solid steps That our mind is breaking up Raising paths on bright sunbeams And walking in this world with grace
An intense touch But not too much Reeling with the feeling Falling but not crashing down * We are fighting back the lightening Clouds will feel our loose grip tighten and Crush confusion that could frighten Instead our bond builds With senses heightened * Electric connection and Shocks still brighten There may be loose wires Until we splice them * For a clean current switching on Then charging through We should feel righteous With what we do * Time keeps moving forever guides us * An intense touch But not too much Leading Never speeding Crawling before we crash out * We improve when times are soothing Days will feel The right touch grooving and Pushing while we feel so new then Instead power plays Have wisdom choosing * Intended connection will Light the fuse now There will be wild views that we can’t lose here * Now a fresh start that clears the way Feel out of sight More than amusement We hit new heights * Soon it’s bright here Forever moves us * An intense touch But not too much Appealing with our feeling Calling So we won’t be crashing down
