Fog thick like a swamp
Damp cold fingers extend to every space
Far above
heat comes down from the sun
Wisps of moisture climb up
like tufts of hair
pulled into the air
The grey banks dissipate
Steam rises to the sky
The blue looks through
The day brightens
And we can see life ahead
Welcoming us to reach out for much more

Life is cool
we want to shout it
Our love is never crowded
Just healing ways that amaze
The joy that has sounded
Now nothing can down it

Sun high like the stars
Far bright visions glow in outer space
Here on Earth
heat comes down from the sun
Oceans and lakes rise up
Like years of care
Become more aware
The green forests provide shade
While life grows to the sky
Azure looks through
The future opens
And we can see how life gets
