In a way these poems are just me thinking.

I know that for certain: some people do not relate to this type of writing or thinking.

Likewise, I don’t appreciate some other people’s work that much either.

I still think that we can get through it, with some clear thoughts and consideration.

Every Moment Matters

We go through the day
Because there is
no other way
We have some good times
We are not afraid

But we have to think
Before we just act
To make a difference
And to stay on track

We sleep through the night
When we have been
feeling alright
We get some good rest
We still have to fight

But we have to breathe
And sometimes relax
To stay much more balanced
And lead the attack

We could be having the time of our lives
Stop for moments to think
This is sublime
Embrace all of the highlights
And reach for the sky’s heights
Find out that we have time
For a moment doing nothing

We continue to work
to be more productive
Even just having fun
We get past obstructions
We can not waste time
We should climb the ladder
To get ahead in life
Every moment matters
