It can be a slippery slope
to chase the sun
Each day we follow
There is no need to run

And our programmed events
Sometimes there are changes
that will just not relent

But if we take our time
And draw the line
Between what needs to happen
And some poor designs

We will find a sure way
to the top of the day
We see what can happen like
Bright skies through the grey

There will be losses in life
There will always be gains
When the sun atarts to rise
We start over again

But If we hit the bottom
Time does not come undone

It takes care and bright hope
To win the day
We will get up to the top
With courage and patience
