Without the Clash

Are we on the same wave length?
I try to relate to everyone
And anyone
If it is safe
If there is a helpful connection
If it seems worthwhile

Are we on the same wavelength?
I try to reach out to everyone
And anyone
Sometimes it is impossible
Sometimes we clash

When we clash
They may want to smash us all
And sometimes we bash them

Sometimes when we connect
We build and accomplish things
When we are on the sane wavelength
We try to react to everyone
In that way we respect everyone
And anyone
Despite the clash
*
If we clash
They may want to lash out
And sometimes we smash them
*
But we must be careful
If we still can salvage things
When we get on the same wavelength
When we can acknowledge everyone
In someway we help out everyone
And anyone
Without the clash
