I write for fun and as a way to share ideas, hopefully in a healthy way, and by healthy, I also mean a rewarding, working way.
I started this poem last night and this is what I came up with this morning.
- Just as a flashback, I found this picture. This is a Datsun 1600, I drove this for a while in the 1990’s.

Looking out the window
From our speeding car
The world is the driver
Taking us so far
I see other cars and people
And the road
and a steep hill
Trees line the highway
As we climb this mountain
In this time we all have free will
We don’t question our choice
We must have a voice
Most of us say
If we had it our way
It would all be free
Everything that we see
And where we want to be
Is at the start of a fine day
It should be a divine day
it might stay
That is why we work
We deserve some perks
We may be passengers
But we are also engineers
We are creators of our own pathway
Either slower or in the fast lane
Stories and visions
Steering precision
The map in our head
Directions we are led
Intricate, intense routes we trace
And destinations that we chase
The challenges we face
All to be knowing good people
Each place
All of our designs stay
We do whatever we find may
Enhance our life
By parking our choice
Getting out of the ride
And meeting our world
Together we share the challenge
If we pay attention
To find the best ways
To get by
in these places
and share our lives gracefully
Skillfully
Or at least
Carefully
Yet sometimes wildly charging
Living to the fullest
From one travel to the next
The journey never ends
