needing something to happen

Sometimes injustice
comes from massive systems like
Society, big business and the government

Sometimes a villain holds us down
Sometimes that is their intent
Sometimes they don’t even know
that they are doing it
Until fair warning is sent

Sometimes it is a neighbour, family or friend

Seems that it should be easy
to reach out to one of them

Sometimes speaking up will help
Sometimes it is an intense grind
Sometimes we do it to ourselves
Sometimes the world is out of line

Justice does not mean much to many

It means everything

Especially for those feeling the sting
In unfair situations
Needing something to happen
What can our best dealing now bring?

Sometimes our justice
comes from our perspectives like
Changing attitudes
Away from vain dominance

Sometimes a hero makes it fair
Sometimes they seem heaven-sent
Sometimes they don’t even know
that they are doing it
Fair, just when a thought is spent

Sometimes it is just anyone that can attend

It is not always easy
to reach out to one of them

We should all reach out
