At once full of fear
Now feeling courageous
To solve problems here
Does that seem outrageous?
We can’t live in fear
We assess the situation
And either bite off a piece
Or tackle it whole
Alleviate stress
That is the goal

Get far above fear
Break out of our cages
Try to maintain cheer
As we get through stages
We can’t live in fear
Of pain or wicked sensations
We embrace light to find peace
For our life and time
Then pass every test
Most days feel fine

Rising higher than any troubles
Throw them down
So that our time doubles
Are they needed or avoided?
Face them in context
Break their bubbles
Or climb back up and get above it

At once stuck in fear
Then rip out those pages
Write safe notes down here
Secure better wages
We can’t live in fear
So assess the situation
If we can find our own piece
And be one with the whole
We achieve our best
That is the goal

Can we still be saved?

What creature is on the chain?
We are pacing, aware
Does there have to be pain?

Unleashing hell on our own day
Without light to prepare
We will not get away

If we do not stay close

Without our people
There is no love here

No comfort

Stars to the Core

It is the world going on
Sometimes I have to ignore
If I pay too much attention
It can start to eat at my core

Carrying on with our daily business
Sometimes the world is too much to witness
*
Is the whole world going wrong?
Losing the entire war?
Within us there is too much tension
For some much less
For some much more
*
Then when we find content
In a moment
Beyond the trouble at the time
*
Is the world coming around
and opening up the door?
Is it within comprehension
that peace is something to explore?
*
I think it is worth mention
That we can even up the score
Then work to get ahead again
Get up off the floor
To get so much more
The world to the stars
Stars to the core

For hours we work
Fighting the good fight
Engaging life with an
Excellent appetite

Must be a winner
Get home for dinner
Nice to be in the light
And having a bite
*
For days we strain
Fighting for insight
With payment ripe for my

As we do the planning
Standing up for what’s right
And feeling tight with the giver of resources
