What is Best for Life is Best for Me

Some of these weekly poems are snapshots of a philosophy, maybe not something that I can enact or endorse all of the time, but something in the context of the moment at the very least.

In the picture below at White Rock, there are dozens of sand pipers (or similar type bird; I am not sure which). They are balled up and then in a second fly up in a synchronous blanket, shifting with every moment in perfect harmony.

I hope that I always have the pesence of mind
To avoid falling behind
In my deep respect for life
and with the simple necessities

*

I can focus on this
And then focus on that
Respect can look different
From each different angle
And in the time what makes sense to me

*

I have to fous on what comes up at the time
Each new angle that I find
Every second is designed
What is best for life is best for me
That has to be
my philosophy

*

I have to put up with myself
and my decisions in the moments
In some ways I have to be first
With my vision for all my causes
And with my efforts
In all I feel, hear and see
What is best for life
is best for me

*

I can focus on this
And then focus on that
Respect should be excellent
From each different angle
And in the time what makes sense to me

*

I have to fous on what comes up at the time
Each new angle that I find
Every second is sublime
What is best for life is best for me
That tends to mean
Balance everything

*

I have to keep up with my health
To find provisions for the moments
In some ways I have to be first
In my mission with all my causes
And with my efforts
In all I do, think and speak
What is best for life
is best for me
