Obliterate Mistake

I don’t always like to

But sometimes I

Think about mistakes

I try to give them credit due

Do everything to get us through

To consistently improve

*

Sometimes I amplify them

Truly catastrophize them

and supply them with energy

Like invent them

when they are

not even there at all

*

I may exaggerate them

Get things out of proportion

But then.realize

It is best

Getting past mistakes

to anticipate them

Then effectively obliterate them

Once and for all

*

Sometimes there is no way

to get things back on track

Unless we change the path

Sometimes we are

forced to deal with their cruel attacks

That are just not meant to be

If only they knew all of the facts

*

Mistakes don’t have to be glaring to be

more aware and

make the best effort

To care

Avoid or repair

Always try to be fair

Because the odds

Will always be stacked

**

I don’t like to

But sometimes I

Think about mistakes

Sometimes I amplify them

Truly catastrophize them

and supply them with energy

Like invent them

when they are

not even there at all

*

I may exaggerate them

Get things out of proportion

It’s important to realize

to get past mistakes

It’s best to anticipate them

Then totally obliterate them

Once and for all

*

Sometimes there is no way

to pick up all the slack

There is only one path

Sometimes there are things that

we just can not retract

*

What happens is meant to be

*

When we take more care

in the first place

And truth is diligently unpacked

Days provide us with

much more kind grace

And we make the best impact

But sometimes I

Think about mistakes

I try to give them credit due

Do everything to get us through

To consistently improve
