Life abruptly interrupted

My leisurely stroll

Time erupts in my day to day

In moments chance stole

All that we have planned is

without warning put on hold

All that was simmering

And boiling hot

Is now frozen cold

Life correctly double-checked

The moments that fate stole

Time connects my day to day

To moments that chance sold

All that we have planned was

put on temporary hold

Though it was once frozen

Time has melted

Now we chase our goals

Life has surprises

We have to be wise and

Be ready

Life has disguises

We need good advice and

To stay steady

**

For every chance

The big plans

To advance

Our good causes

No more unnecessary losses

Take each moment

develop health

For ourselves

And everyone else

Despite what

the momentary cost is

Life abstractly impacted

Everything I was told 

Time keeps track of

my day to day

Moments kept in the fold

All that we have planned is

Clearly taken off of hold

All that was shivering

Or way too hot

Is now calm and bold
