I can’t help it

I say what’s on my mind

I say what I feel

And to me it should be said

They say I’m out of line

Their double standards protect themselves

They think that we are blind

Justice should come swift

But then they block it

Or make it hard to find

At least when I go off with a truth

I walk it like I talk it

Others I know of

bury the truth

In their house of lies

Not shocking that they lock it

I can’t help it

I tend to open my mind

I say what is real

Because to me

it should be said

They say I’m wasting my time

*

Their hypocrisy

Is sad as Hell

But they don’t seem to mind

Justice should come first

But then they mock it

And break it

with their own crooked design

Speak the truth

Do not abuse

Our world with hate and lies

Sure sometimes

we keep truth to ourselves

But if we have to get it out

Working to understand

is fair and wise
