People should know that I mean well

out there to get what we want

Have a greed that haunts

While the super giving kind-type

may have kindness they flaunt

It may seem grating

Look into their faces

They may be rather gaunt

More people should be feeling well

At any given time

Feeling safe in our shell

Because all of us are

All in

Just to get what we need

Some of these same people

Choose to do dirty deeds

While the super rich lying-type

With bad examples lead

There is so much waste

People passed by in haste

As others choose who is freed

To me we should be

The best that we can be

For the health of all

Helped to be

Whoever we want to be

Whoever we need to be

With perfect equity

Some adjustability

And pure accountability

At all levels

So that we can work to achieve

Justice to a greater degree

Just as all folks with empathy

would vote to be

Don’t take down the world

Because of greed

Give all we can give

As much as we can

Not so much possessions

Maybe money to stand

Just help out with the plan

Help more feel well

Have a story to tell

Help more understand

So we can still feel free

Because we work on our side of Hell

Languish, sweat and bleed

We are not as free as we could be

may have strength that showers
