It was a beast of a day

Like any other day

Demanding all our energy

Then taking it away

The more I think about it

It was just another day

But at a point

People have to recognize

With care

more good times stay

Totally oblivious

To successes all around

We ignore

what should astound

And people criticize

Certain details 

Just to keep us down

It was a Hell of a day

Messing with our energy

We just want to feel okay

People have to realize

The role that they do play

Totally oblivious

To challenges on the ground

One big thing that I have found

Is that

some folks miss important details

And that’s what keeps us down

Sure we have our moments

As if we’re

oblivious to mistakes and flaws?

But don’t frame us in things

When something else

is the actual blatant cause!

It’s the social-game

At its worst

When the

details don’t really matter

And they’re looking

for any excuse

To knock us off the ladder

I’m not saying

We should get to the top

every try

And these same folks

at times keep me glad but

Their angle of me

at other times

certainly doesn’t flatter

Past that it’s hard to say

Because sometimes events

Don’t seem to add up

When the complexity to my

Life shines through

Anomalous at times

I put the stats up
