Life gets better

or life gets worse

We each control our own universe

Like a drive on winding roads

Every day a thrill

Life happens fast

Sometimes best

when we can just stay still

While it all spins around us

Entire galaxies

Sometimes we skilfully conduct them

like inspired symphonies

Life is the best

or life is a curse

We each live in our own universe

Feel alive as fireworks explode

With intention and will

Life can be a blast

Or like a test

But this is not s drill

While fire spins around us

Every colour and sound

Hot white eyes in the sky

We trust them

From this sacred and hallowed ground

Have gratitude for what we’ve got

The Earth is starting to get hot

When we share and care a lot

Then we stand up for this spot

We should sign a petition

For what we’ve fought

If no one will listen

Then we’re caught

How can so many suffer needlessly?
